Texas Commercial Diving Contractors

I've been a commercial diver for fifteen years now. They say if you can make it five this might be the career for you. Well I've past that and have continued on. The other divers you run across from all over the world, like I have. You can always tell if they got the mustard to get job done. Just by talking to them. When you been in it as long as I have, you can tell whats B.S. or not. Every diver has a story about fear, even though fear is not in the dialogue. As the story starts, the diver puts on a play. There I was, in dark deep blue on a water stop. I remember looking around with my light, on top of my dive hat. Then stopped when I caught a glowing sphere in the distance. The light reflected off the sphere, with a strange redness color. I could see it grow, until a bottom smile appeared. Before I could blink, a ten foot tiger shark hit me right in the head. But it didn't bite or dart off quick. No it swam by my eyes, so close you could count the stripes. I hung there amazed, thinking how crazy that was. The guys up top and watching the video got a good shock. The tiger shark swam to the top of the water, right where I had to exit. As my water stop ended, I came to surface. The shark left and was not seen for the rest of the job. But that is one water stop, I'll never forget. Diving has it's stories and this one is no B.S.
